And now we have Mr Earnhardt Jr and Mr Hamlin saying that unless Mr Van Gisbergen top 5’s the Indy road course.. he won’t be competitive if he goes to Cup.
And do it begins.. The good old boys are scared.. |

The psychological warfare begins!
Don’t tell the good olde boys, that Shane’s Kangaroo farm is the bigger than Texas, he only dates super models that have their own teeth and his first words were, the pram is under steering. |

Having a steering system that seems to have been taken from a Commercial delivery van and made with all the reliability only an Italian supplier could muster, can’t be particularly fun either. I notice when ambient temperatures are different and the car doesn’t turn as well as usual, imagine someone who is as innately sensitive to every movement in the steering and suspension to take it as close to 100% all the time, and it is not responding to driver input.. with some kind of inbuilt flex from structural design insuffiency… The engine thing.. when you have the money, in pre-gen3 a team could put a fresh engine in the car at EVERY event, and run a development program to continue to eke pace from the power plant. Gen3 means same engine largely untouched for 4 or 5 Bathurst lengths. Cheaper, not necessarily better. Wonder how the different sponsor/team oils influence the outcomes too? |

On the video, he talked about everyone having to use a min tyre pressure and then they overheat quickly, so you have to back off.
Also kinda funny that much of what he doesn't like about Gen3 is also in the Nascar Gen 7 Last edited by TWRv12; 11 Aug 2023 at 09:26. |

200 laps on a short track in a not so familiar vehicle under the lights is likely to be humbling, but because he's in it, I might try to give it a watch.
It is also apparently the first round of the playoffs so SVG should be wise enough not to get too involved with any contenders. |

Watch IRP and compare those lights and tight stadium racing
Given the talent, or lack there of, in the series I would expect 4-5 laps before he is out of the running. It won't be a great race, most are kids funded by family or poorly thought out TV spot sponsors and their ability to actually race is poor more often than not. |

Quali didn't go poorly, better than more than a few regulars, just behind Celsius chosen social media driver.
Always forget how bad Nascar production is. But at least a few truck guys older than me so that's a nice thing |

Who had the Deegan first wreck, she finds them every time
Uh oh, asking for more grip ain't gonna work sir, it's not the perfect lap running like you did in Chicago. Get the right drift stick and you're going forward |
