The thing is even if they were for clothes...when I saw it the first thing I thought of was cigarettes so surely thats not a good thing! (I'm a non-smoker btw)!

Surely it counts as cigarette advertising? Not many people know that Marlboro make clothes.

Is it not possible to create a petition to ITV? Surely, as we are all F1 fans, members, guests and moderators alike should tell ITV what we think!
Maybe we can sting them into action! Adam, Wrex, Bononi, EERO are you listening? We need you to organise something! |

Individual letter to ITV will work more effectively than a petition. Shows that people will make an effort rather than just tick a box. Also any smuck can organise a petition.
However it can only help. Why don't you give it a go? It will need to have a well thought out letter with it that is written sensibly arguing the point rather than something like "We think your show is pants". I've never been to one, but I understand that there are some web pages that allow you to set-up a petition. However, as I mentioned before, a written one, would be better. Maybe this will aid the compilation of a list of signatures. (?) I am sadly going to decline the offer to organise it, although I have written a letter and sent a couple of emails. Feel free to set-up a thread here to get people together, but as I say, they will not listen to a bunch of people just bashing James Allen with childish insults. It has to be considered, with constructive criticism and from an objective stand point. |
