Ian Briggs should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Citroen/Peugeot, tomato/tomado, the badge wasnt too visible as it banana'd itself over the armco.

You were the one complaining of being bored after the first race

50% of the red flag (AKA 750MC flag, thanks Dave) calls isnt a bad strike rate!

I don't bore easily but that race certainly needed another 25 or so cars.

Thanks for that - I hadn't appreciated just how close it was to the marshals down by the gap.

A graphic illustration of why marshals should never lean on barriers. At the point shown in the photo I thought the car was actually coming over the Armco; anyone leaning on it would probably not have been able to get away quickly enough to avoid being hit.

Great Picture of the Incident," Dave you thought that the car was coming over the top of the Armco so did I, but I got a closer view of the underside of the car as I was standing behind the First and Second Post of the Inner Armco, and thought that I had Bought It, and it also explains why the Top Rail of the Armco was so severley damaged, still all Three Marshals were all OK and lived to tell the tale " and your after the Incident Concern for All Three Marshals was very Much Appreciated

that is one hell of a photo. wonder how many stock hatches will suddenly sprout window nets to avoid the possibility of flailing body parts after seeing that one...

Wow - what a photo!!!. Was at Old Hall for that incident and got down there to help with the clean up.
Guess that explains why the driver hurt his arm in the incident!!!

Firstly welcome to 10ths Steve

Secondly having seen the video linked by Oscar above, it was lucky it didnt come over the barrier and goes to show that even on a post such as Avenue which is usually a fairly quiet post it CAN and WILL happen so all the team need to be the ball all the time cars are circulating

Just glad all are OK

As the briefing on the weekend of my first 'big' incident.

Welcome to Avenue where either nothing will happen or it will be big.
Day 1 - nothing, Day 2 - Big, Ginetta G50's of Proctor and Breeze incident.
