I like Newgarden, just by the interview he gave after his accident.
He is unhappy with Hinchcliffe, but says ultimately it's his fault by making a bad decision. |

Ferrucci lost out by missing that pit opportunity before the accident. |

You can't put workers on track in this scenario if you aren't under yellow. A couple guys almost got hit at Monaco in the F1 race a few weeks ago, tracks generally don't take those chances stateside.
and great, now we lost the tv feed, but don't worry, we get to see more commercials. |

The Gainbridge graphics in yellow text throw me off every time they put them up, I think the race is going yellow, but it is just a sponsorship thing on the timing ribbon.

I hope Dixon wins, and Ericsson get his podium.
He deserved better results than he got so far. |

Red flag so we have a chance of finishing under green.
As for local yellows, Stateside, I think they're more worried about getting sued than they maybe are in other places around the world. Also, NASCAR, and its greater "entertainment" drive, rule the motorsport scene over here. So bunching up the field isn't just seen as the "convention", but as the thing to do if you want to help yourself in the TV ratings department. |

It rained yesterday too, and after a caution filled Sunday race, I think they tried extra hard to make up for it.
