My bad. Attempto announced recently that they were running the Huracan and for some reason I thought of McLaren instead of Huracan. Doesn't sound like there will many teams next year across the whole world running the McLaren as it stands. Quinn-Aus GT K Pax-Pirelli World Challenge The only two I can think of. |

Molitor Racing Systems (MRS) is back in the McLaren-camp, I think. I wish them luck, but I can't shake the feeling that they've traded one struggle-bus (Nissan) for another.

United Autosports ran a McLaren in the MSVR GT Cup last season - possibly will again this year?

Dang, that's too bad. Still, it's looking likely to be a big field of cars I don't get the chance to see very often over here so looking forward to it.

I think the McLaren they were running is the one owned by the Geddies, no?

Good to see the BMWs back interesting as well that it's AMD running them rather than 888 - it does seem to support the murmurings from the touring car world that 888 have scaled back/sold up and are now very much part of the BMR empire.

IIRC, they said at this time last year they were taking a sabbatical from BGT for '15 given it was a transitional year for GT3, and re-assess the situation again this time next year (ie. now). However, I wouldn't be surprised if their LMP3 programme takes up all their time and efforts this year. |

Anyone know much about the Garage59Racing McLaren that was fielded in GTCup at Donnington Park? Other than the Geddie car, could be the only active 650s in the UK?
I wonder how important McLaren feel it is to field a car for the British GT, seeing as they were running a young driver programme in 2015... |

Ah, just found out the McLaren Garage59racing project is Mclarens AM driver development programme. Maybe scope for customer racing in British GT or GT Cup in 2016

Don't think much of the florescent yellow and black sun strips and number panels that are on the Aston and Lamborghini at Autosport International.

I had similar thoughts. Wonder if there'll be another colour for GT4 to differentiate them.
