Much like McNish running Daytona at the very end of his career on the chance of adding it to his win list. |

Lance doesn't "belong" to Ganassi. He's just driving the car. I fully expect him to crash that car out of the race.

I don't believe Chip will let anyone "just drive his car" but that's just me, we'll see how the kiddo does. Good to see Ganassi 'taking a gamble' with another youngster.

My guess is that Stroll Sr is helping to pay for the rest of the lineup. Similar to Matt McMurry's presence in LMP2 competition last year.

Not that there was really doubt on it after seeing the BoP sheets, but this finally confirms there not being Krohn LMP2 on grid

Lizards to the Rolex 24 with an older Audi upgraded to GT3 spec. Partnership with Krohn, so expect the green. Drivers are Krohn, Jonsson, Kaffer and Haase.

Just a one off for Wurz. No full season with Ford if you believe him.

A bright green Audi will definitely stand out on the banking. Just hope Tracy keeps off the walls... |

No the LMPCs will take care of that formality in the first lap.

I think he's not gonna drive too bad man. I mean , sure he crashed some cars in F3 this year and sure he's there because money, but i don't think Chip Ganassi would let a new Maldonado drive one of his cars at the big one.

I had never even heard of him prior reading the lineup.
Oh well back to my robots. |

With the wave by format there is not need to drive hard. I'm sure CGR will tell him that. You can take it easy for the first 23 hours of the race.

True dat
Even half ready ARX-04 of last year could've won it had the car lasted (and wasn't run by someone as sloppy as ESM). The first 23h are basically just pre-qualifying phase, you know to get in grid order for the final restart... I always start to watch this race and somehow forgot how silly the free lap nonsense is. Usually it's about middleway through when it gets so frustrating I have to shut the thing off and only come back for the NASCAR finish. But oh well maybe this year if SMP (the other P2 candidates are worthless) does okay I at least have someone to root for, if I'm in mood to watch this. I never dare to watch Sebring again (not under current scheme anyway) since I want to have at least one race with only good non-ruined memories, so that's been on holidays for two seasons now. |
