There are no advert breaks at all on the UK coverage! We have the US coverage and just silent commentary during the US breaks. Shame really because we have missed seeing the "other side of" Jr in a new Nationwide ad.

Am I the only one who can't fail to be delighted when Dale Jr is doing interviews by the garages during a race. Style and name over substance. Ok there's some substance but nothing that justifies his popularity.

I was prepared for a formation finish but then it all kicked off. Couldn't have been better for me in that end. Excellent finish. Someone trying to block their way to victory comes 14th. Danica off track after thinking cars overtaking her should be hit. Junior nowhere. That's pretty much a perfect Nascar race for me. We'll have a season of those please.

I agree! It seems like the cars have more front downforce and were planting the front when they got sideways, and the car was getting tossed. He may well have been helped a bit by the outside wall 'catching in' and letting him get it back in line. Whatever, that looked like it was going to be big and amazingly wasn't.

always happy for first time winners. JGR was due
a Daytona win , that was dominant. Thanks for
the good catch Kennseth and not taking out half the
field. My favs,10,88,24 had a horrible day. Oh well
that's how it goes sometimes.

I can only assume you are referring to Kenseth blocking. I honestly don't know what else he was supposed to do on the last lap of the biggest race of the year. Per his post race interview, he could've just sat on the bottom and finished second, but that's no fun now is it? Nor is it "plate racing".

I don't think he did have a choice. But he had been passed fair and square and so I'm glad his block failed. The faster car went by.

I'm not criticising him but I'm glad the block failed.
