One was a prototype changing line in the straight when lapping a GT car. This one was two GT cars on the limit in a corner. |

Greatest race commentary ever. There is an Aston with no front end - “ the wiper is up so you can tell it went in backwards”.

79 definitely lost grip but wasn't something he did to turn wide and brave trying to keep even cars 2 wide

#24! Madness. Nearly nails the cars cleaning the track. Pay attention to flags people!
Suddenly we are reminded why we have SC when people are on the track. That surely needs a telling off. |

Why? If anything the Aston was trying to execute the pass with the MB in the racing line.
BMW looked like he was trying to do his best JPM and not pay attention to safety vehicles there. Any question about why you can't trust racing drivers to police themselves |

Yeah, that's a call him in and make him go to the stewards now not post race. The other driver can get in but that's just top flight stupid

That's a goddamn joke IMSA, you give a drive through to 79 and THE SAME PENALTY to the 24? Eff off with that bull
Switched my ratings YouTube TV count over to Trucks at Mid-Ohio |

#79 gets a penalty. Incident responsibility. Harsh.
#24 gets a penalty. Unjustifiable risk. (Being a tool) Both drive throughs! |

GTDPRO v GTD watch. The Pro class cars head the non pro cars. How odd.

So. All strategies have been reset. Top 9 all back in sync now. Same in LMP3 and GTs too.

#4 trying a 3 point turn there.
No need for a full FCY. |

That has messed up the pit stops. Some lucky people #10, #5 and #31 was super close.

BMW #96 stopped on outside of the after nerfing the #12 Lexus.
FCY. IMSA gave everyone a chance to come in before the FCY, no one took it. |

I realise in IMSA there practically always must be blame and a penalty, but with a car on your outside running a bit wide is always possible. They’re racing, go on the outside and you’re being cool, but also there is a risk. That’s as close as you can get to just racing.
Are you really judging it was justified because it was like the #8 #777 incident at Monza? If it was I’d agree with the decision, but it could really be much different and still involve two cars touching. |

It’s all gone wrong for Cadillac, but BMW and Porsche have made the best of it. Acura still 1-2 after all.
18 minutes left. |
