Hedging my bets as always, I have bought a can of waterproofing spray for my R-word coat and a new tube of suncream.

No, won't be any precipitate weather in France in June.
Never happens. At all. Some cheerful images. |

Eric,
how is the waterlevel in the river Sarthe holding? I plan on camping in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe starting next Monday(!) and the campsite is next to the river. |

Eric if you get a chance on your trips around let us know the conditions of the campsites, i know TR will be OK as if it is flooded then not much chance of anything else being less than 50 metres under water.

From what I've read so far, Test Weekend is supposed to be dry and warm. Meanwhile, where I'm at, it's supposed to storm all weekend.

I think I should start issuing warnings. There's far too much ludicrously pessimistic talk in this thread. You should be ashamed of yourselves.......

That looks like beausejour camp site a few years ago, although i still remember the shock i had 25 years ago when we returned from the parade to houx annex to be greeted by the sight of a lake 2 feet deep in places with the tops of tents poking out in places. next year found tertre rouge and been there eversince
