We would love to but it will have to be a quick one - 3 1/2 hours for us as well.

I know it's cheeky - but can you move it up to qualifying day???

Are you sitting at Knickerbrook like last year?

We will be on the inside again. Both sites have their good and bad points.

I reckn John will have to have 2 sittings!!!!

Oulton is one of our local tracks too, so we'll be happy to share your hospitality John - here's hoping we have something special to celebrate after the race

It's not like the rest of you to refuse alcohol!

As long as it is warm enough! If John organises the t-shirts then does that mean we have to give him our measurements?

Welcome James!

Race day will be busy during the day.........50+ sponsors guests, so I have to do my bit, but after the race we'll definitely be around for a beer (I'm not driving home!) Qualifying day should also be ok for a quickie, although I can't overdo it!
Les, It looks like you're right, 2 sittings could be on the cards, and I'm fairly sure that there will be some menbers of the B&Qsi who will manage both!!
re: T-shirts, I like it, and I'm working on it, probably not for Oulton but watch this space....
re: James Levy, Hello old old chap!! very nice to hear from you on here, they are a very friendly (if a little alcoholic bunch) and I'm sure that they will also adopt you!! and thank you for your congrats, sorry about the small coming together between our car and yours, it happens! and don't worry, I'm sure you will be more than quick enough.
Kelvin, I'm glad you will be there, we need to talk pictures!
Chris Y you will have to fill me in on your exploits at Combe, I love that place!
Carrie I hope that your finger crossing works!
Craig, ok ok we'll let you off this time, but I don't want any excuses at the next race!!
Touringlegend, I can't send a pint to Scotland but I'll try to make up for it at Knockhill.

Sadly I can't make the next meeting but hopefully Silverstone will be a possibility

If only to stop Craig claiming that I only go to Brands !

Pin in Scotland

John don't you worry - you'll be well looked after at Knockhill - you aint seen nothing like the airhorns we have up here!!!!

We'll be cheering for you so much there'll be no point anyone else being in the race!!!

Let's see if we can't get some kind of record going for the biggest celebration to be up here at Knockhill....what do you think B & Q'rs????
July 21st and 22nd it will be!! Some haggis for lunch and you'll be cutting you lap time in half and if you wash it down with a pint or two of Irn Bru you'll be crossing the finish line when the rest are still revving up at the start!!!! These girders in the Irn Bru are fabulous - they give you real strength!!!!

John ... Lorna and I modelled tee-shirts once before, it certainly got a few strange looks and worked a treat with publicity ... check out http://tentenths.com/gallery/2000/BTCC/Round_23_and_34/
