louonline should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I can remeber when the people of Bathurst had to grovel for a misely $10m to upgrade Mount Panorama, (something that will last for at least the next 15 or 20 years) but now the government seems to have no problem waisting $30m for something that will last 5 years at best.

If they had any brains they would spend that money on Australia's world class track and put on a world class event. You could do a hell of a lot with $30m up on the Mount.

Hell with that sort of money they could even put in enough safety run-offs to entise F1 let alone the bikes!

It would do wonders for the rural economy in the Central West.

I can't comment on WSID but you have never raced a kart there or if you have you have a low standard of "pretty good" No thanks we will never race there again.
I thought at least the Kart track would have been Ok. The Dragstrip is not bad, the roadcourse is abysmal.

He will do whatever is required to discredit Eastern Creek to further his pressure on the government to fund his pet project at Homebush.
He really does have to do much to that..the place already is discredited.

Did I just hear correctly on the Network Ten news that Frank Sartor the NSW planning minister has canned the proposed V8 Supercar race around Olympic Park in favour of further residential and business development over the next ten years??
