WAU and Tickford is the same sort of story now - fast at times, inconsistent as hell, when good in quali, slow in races and vice versa. Cam can't win the title in either of them so better to stay at Tickford where he's the leader rather than enter Mostert's territory.

I have little faith in this tbh. On one hand it seems certain Mustang is disadvantaged (otherwise it's pretty peculiar all Chev teams raised their game while all Ford teams took steps backwards) but on the other hand there've been so many measures to improve parity and never changed anything. So doubt these ones will deliver any massive difference. Besides, apart from (dis)parity, I can't see Tickford, WAU and DJR really challenging for the title. Last year none of these teams really had a shot so don't think they can have now.

I take it another way…
At the beginning of Gen3, every Chev team got a pukka 888 designed car, while every Ford team got a DJR without the Team Penske designed one..

DJR was midfield rabble before Penske and they are sliding back there.

Seems Ludo can't do his tricks and since Dr Story is gone so has proper leadership.

After watch Chaz in the Saturday media, he certainly seemed to be very unhappy. Made SVGs previous comments on Gen3 seem pretty tame.
What is the chance he moves on to an IMSA drive or something else for Andretti or United?

How many years has the other one got left a WAU? sometime soon someone is going to wake up and see that this guy is has never really looked like winning a Championship. I can't even see how he has developed through his career, you could put a few others on that list. I think Waters had gotten a little better and smarter? You could see Shane and Scott develop, you can see Kostecki and Feeney just to name another two. Some improve the two top inches, others don't.

Bit bored at the moment???

Red Bull have been and gone in NASCAR, they came in, did their thing and left because it wasn't happening. I very much doubt that they would invest anywhere near what they did back then. You'd also have to see if Monster and/or including 5 hour Energy have an exclusion clause in place to exclude other brands. Given Monster's place a series sponsor they could have that in place, which has been the case with other series sponsors over the years.

But as you say, crazier things have happened....
