Ax Slinger should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As I just said in another thread, he had help ending up that way. But as I said there, he started 33rd and made it up to 7th before that happened. Then he went to 22nd, and made back up to 7th. If this didn't happen, he would have won the race. It seems to me that if he could go from 22nd to 7th, that he could have gone from 7th to the lead, moving up half as many positions, in the same amount of time. But hey... Chit happens, ya know, and it's only the second week of the season, and two top 10's, and 4th in the points is a great start.

But do tell... How did your guy do? Did he start in the back and work his way to the front, or start in front and fall back? Or maybe he started in the middle and just stayed there?

Sorry, T. That question was actually directed at CA Raceramp, I just forgot to say so... I also forgot to tell him "2 RACES, 2 SPINS, 2 OUT OF 2 TOP TENS!" But hey, nobody's perfect.

At least with some of you, like you and Rosie, I know who you like. Most of the Anti Jeffie's just whine about him, but don't ever actually seem to like anyone in particular. And if they do have a favorite driver, sometimes they seem reluctant to mention who they are. Too embarrassed perhaps?

It figures !

Whoa … what do we have here ?? A discriminating board that allows only those who suck up to a mediator the right to post whatever they feel like? Man, someone must really be pounding his chest this morning and feeling like a real important person because he was able to delete my earlier post. ROTFLMFAO !

Double negatives make a positive, right Tramp !

Speaking about idiots, inthe news this morning the Sheriff’s dept. in Madawaska is being sued because they chased a criminal until he ran in the woods and wasn’t able to capture him. Anyway, this idiot couldn’t find his way out of the woods and because of extreme temperatures, he lost two toes due to frostbite. He now contends that if the Sheriff’s dept. had done their job and caught him, then he wouldn’t be living in such discomfort. ( This is TRUE ! )

Bones, don’t feel dejected about not seeing the two Anti-threads. I didn’t either.. However, I bet the tramp STILL doesn’t get it after reading some of those back posts. Good for Tim. HE SURE HAS A HANDLE ON HOW TO PUT THESE GUYS IN THEIR PLACE NICELY, DOESN’T HE !! Way to go Tim !!!! You are terrific.. Has anybody told you that lately.. * G *

Actually Bones...this is a thread for the pro-Gordon folks and was started by a Gordon fan...how it came upon to be called the anti-anti? Well, you might want to ask the Gordon fans that question.

It's all in good fun, ya know. These threads, to me at least, are simply for poking fun at each other. Good natured ribbing, as it were. But sometimes, I surprise people. Like Rosie for instance. Yes, I like Jeff Gordon. But I also am an avid "Call 'em as I see 'em" kind of guy. I record every race, and when people start talking about a particular incident, I watch the tape repeatedly and see what actually happened. Then I add my two cents worth. If Jeff is not responsible, I'll defend him. But if he is responsible, I usually will say he is. The tape doesn't lie.

At least if the whole story is on the tape, that is. Take Jeff Gordon's spin in the pits last week. Fox never showed what really happened, nor did the announcers say what happened. But an article on thatsracin.com did, and a top down view of it was shown on Inside Winston Cup or Inside NASCAR, or whatever that show is called. (I didn't pay attention to what show it was.) Tony Stewart tagged him, and caused him to spin out on pit road. But there again, it didn't look like it was intentional or anything. It was just one of those things. He pulled out, Jeff was there and he hit him. No big.

And yes, my Wife tells me I'm terrific all the time. But actually, I'm just logical. Must be from all those years of watching Star Trek.

The Jeffie-poo fans couldn't come up with anything original, so they had to copy there arch enemy's thread, AKA The Anti Jeffy-poo Brigaders.

Awwwww, Cm'on Tramp !!

He who knows not and knows not he knows not,
He is a fool- Shun him.
He who knows not and knows he knows not,
He is simple- Teach him.
He who knows and knows not he knows,
He is asleep-Awaken him.
He who knows and knows that he knows,
He is wise- follow him.

Trampie… Looks like we ruffled your feathers a bit today… Sure hope you aren’t going to hold it against us… We are only having a bit of fun with you. You were always someone I knew to have a sense of humor. Now say, " GO GORDON !"
