Zils were. They just couldn't afford them.

A Tatra? Rear engined V8? Nice.

Can they be built to last for 6 Hours (with a sensible budget) and still be dominant? (I have no idea - hence the question.)

I wouldn't call six hours a shakedown test, plus it wont be ready.

Tim - you're hopeless!
Reg 3.1.5. Minimum 2, maximum 4.

as a more highly qualified Clerk than I is fond of saying (when we're writing regulations) "I don't know why we bother - nobody ever reads them anyway"

I find that regulations like traffic laws are for other people.

Probably under 7.2.3 if nothing else.

Where can we get a copy of FIA appendix K or J or whatever to see what's homologated?

No it doesnt, must have two plus two seating to be classed as a GT and is not a saloon so its a sportscar which is not allowed.

Good news people!

And even better news for me - the 924 started yesterday. Now I've only got to find the 4th cylinder and turn it into a race car before the end of April....looks like I'll not be availing myself of the £250 early-bird discount LOL! Speaking of which, is the 15% available to drivers in the 2010 race or just the entrants?

Look forward to seeing you next April. Hope the spring weather's kind (or perhaps not, three of my prospective team members are skid pan instructors).

Sadly Tel as is the case in Pre-93's, Toyo Saloons and just about any racing that includes cars from this period you are probably right the only reason I built my IROC-Z race car years ago and probably why no one has done one before or since is because it ran in a championship (ModProds) that outlawed the two models, its hopelessly out classed in Pre-93's by these more or less race built homologation specials.
