Well, I was there and clearly remember seeing it on the big screen at the time..... I'm sure I remember RLM commenting on it. It's been posted many times over the years, including after it 'happened'. Why is it now being called out as a fake?

The weather on my way down to Le Mans was not what we agreed on. At the moment I'm sitting next to my tent and it is absolutely what we agreed on. A lovely summer evening.

The Motor Racing weather forecast for Le Mans Circuit suggests rain on Tuesday until 19:00 and then dry, sunny with some cloud right through to 0.2mm due 19:00 Sunday.

So far on the forecast I've seen, sunny for test day, rain for P&Q, sunny for the race. Looks like everyone will be hoping for a productive test day if that holds up.

We were very lucky... Yesterday, the Pesage could have canceled cause risk of thunderstorms... Others outside events in Le Mans and public gardens has been closed

Right now, it's a beautiful morning on the outskirts of Le Mans. Lots of lovely sunshine. The weather reports seem to vary greatly, I haven't seen two that are reporting the same forecast! Non-sun was predicted for about 6 am today (I didn't see any), and potentially in about half an hour, but right now, that seems unlikely. The rest of the day seems to vary between sunny and cloudy, with some reports mentioning the possibility of non-sun showers through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures are fairly cool, not rising above the high teens.

Well, this is your Le Mans 'outskirts' reporter here.... Nice blue skies with a few fluffy clouds here. Slightly overcast and still fairly cool. The weather reports I've seen predict no non-sun at all during the race, with a high of around 26 degrees from 6 to 9 o'clock this evening, so looks like it's going to be pretty warm. 13 degrees is the overnight low, which isn't too bad at all.
