41x
17x LMP2* 18x LMP3 6x LMGTE-AM * 7 Oreca, 6 Onroak, 4 Dallara, 0 Riley Hopefully the micro GTE grid projects smaller than expected numbers for 24 hours AM list tomorrow as well, as originally you might've thought some of the WEC-rejected to end here after all (?) Five Michelin-cars in LMP2, of which probably 3-4 will end up at LM, so there will be tire war at la Sarthe again I guess the return of SMP Dallara is surprise so that's 3 teams already with mixed LMP1 + LMP2 campaign this year which we haven't seen for years, however I'm not sure they'll enter it for LM Last edited by Deleted; 8 Feb 2018 at 16:32. |

Nice to see Ebimotors racing a Porsche. Wonder if it's an old spec RSR or the '17 spec car for the unknown customer in Asia.

Saw the entry list. Prototypes is very big right now and is certainly the IN thing. GT racing has probably lost a lot of teams to prototypes.
Does ELMS even need a GTE category? Or perhaps there should be a prototype series with LMP2 and LMP3 (include Le Mans cup ones). And a GT only series with GTE-Am and the GT3s from the Le Mans Cup. With a monster grid of 35 prototypes. Why have 6 GTE Am cars at the back? |

Did Rebellion Racing move to Algarve? The weather is definitely better over there.

There is a very nice mix of cars on the P2 grid. Let's see how the updated cars go. It will be very entertained to watch.

Well yes the two updated cars in the field :/ It's kind of lame of Onroak and Dallara to have EVO kits for sprint aero as well when only the LM aero sucked against Oreca, but it is what it is By the way is this the lowest amount of variety EVER for this series? These are the only chassis entered LMP2 Oreca * LMP2 Dallara * LMP2 Onroak * + LMP3 Onroak **/*** LMP3 Norma **/*** LMGTE Ferrari **** LMGTE Porsche **** * w/ spec engine 1 ** w/ spec engine 2 *** w/ spec tires 1 **** w/ spec tires 2 Last edited by Deleted; 9 Feb 2018 at 01:12. |

The APR Rebellion lineup is one to watch. Bradley was one of the starts of the 2nd half of the elms season last year, Newey was impressive in AsLMS and Laurent needs no introduction.

ACO should really do something to attract more GTE entries.
- Discount in entry fee? - 3rd automatic Le Mans entry? |

I think we'll see them receiving pit time penalties as a kind of driver BOP.

Yes, that's correct. Astons will still have a big advantage as they did the development of the tire.... but maybe with the works team onto Michelin this year, they won't get as much help in going fast.

Entry fees aren't the problem. Keep in mind, they're still racing GTE cars which are mind blowingly expensive to purchase/run and they can't run anywhere else except WEC or IMSA GTLM, which makes for a very small market. -mike |

I imagine LMP3 has made quite a dent into the GT racing market throughout the world. Not just in ELMS GTE-AM. |

I don't know much about the Ebimotors Porsche, anybody know what their livery might look like. Great that 911 RSR's will be all over the place this year. Best sounding engine in racing today. Maybe best one overall since the LMP1 Aston Martin.
