If I sold advertising (and I don't) I would be very interested to know what the programming was going to be. And if it ment a rerun of a popular locally made TV drama was put in a saleable slot I would be very happy.

In this age of technology I would rationalise that the folks really interested in a marginal sport would either A. pay for it or B. Record it and watch it later

Personally I wouldn't die of a broken heart if all Aussie V8 and League disappeared from our screens. And perhaps 2/3's of all the cooking shows

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo you can't take my cooking shows from me, lose all the blues games, reality TV like the GC and Teen Mum. But Deadlist Catch and Iron Chef need to stay, love the league and Aussie V8's when I can watch and not see the results before I watch them.

I have been watching some of the Aussie V8's on there website but had some problems lately with that.

Would love it if they put it on there on demand service. I just think there should be a way to watch the races.

And by the way I'm Steve (or Steven) Richards HAHAHA. Promax I heard you were Kim Kardashein can you put on a show for the boys at the next Tier One meeting now would get the ratings for NZV8;s

The latest word is that you could be Kerry Cooper (since Revhead appears not to be)...

Very lame indeed. I just found out about this today, and is actually what prompted me to register for the forum after a few months of background lurking.

If Sommersby is reading this, mate, I know it's not your fault or decision to run the coverage so late, but what reasons have you been given for this?

Hopefully they will run Bathurst live start to finish. They could probably start a bit later since there always seems to be 2 hours of drivel beforehand...

You kind of wonder why they don't take a leaf out of Prime's book and run big events on 3plus1 as special programming....
I'd imagine there'd be a revenue upside in making a bigger deal out of big events...

I think that's the most sensible thing you've ever said!

I assume you mean the programme, not the actual Ridges themselves...

If I was Matthew I would insist she used her maiden name!

The only time I remember it live was once with TVNZ.

It is always disapointing as I cannot see why TVNZ cannot stream it through the web or on C4. They are like kids with a toy they are not playing with but not wanting anyone else to play with it either.

and when TV3 got it, it wasn't too bad when you had to flick over to their reserve channel at 6pm, but currently it is a joke when Dobbo?? tells you who won a race you won't get to see for 4-5hours.

I will defend that one Joe, I haven't given a Race result before the race has screened anytime in the last three seasons.

Still, that's only on 3. It doesn't help that everyone else can (justifiably) report it.

Hi Everyone, as Shaun has already posted.. We have tried and failed in bringing you the Supercars Live. Sadly the fact is, not enough people watch Supercars to justify broadcasting live during peak viewing times, If the Race was over by 6pm we would not have a problem, but currently the Race is scheduled to finish 7pm NZ time. The Networks decision is based purely on economics. Our apologies to all Motorsport fans but this decision was out of our control.

I do have some good news, Bathurst will be live from start to finish. Shaun and Mork will front from the Studio and Boothy will be sending reports from the circuit. Hope this eases the pain a little.
