Yeh the stewards seemed a little better towards the end of the season after that raft of criticism they received, all bar Japan (Bourdais/Massa).

Top five predictions from a soothsayer...
* Mark "Potsie" Webber will score podiums in 2009 (possibly as many as 4) * Fernando Alonso will be WDC * Ferrari will be WCC. * 10 different drivers will win races * Force India will end the season point-less. |

1. Front wings will be smashed constantly.
2. Webber will be as mediocre as ever and full of excuses. 3. Panasonic will drop Toyota. 4. BrawnGP will be a competetive mid fielder. 5. Lewis and Fernando will tussle it out for the title. Kimi third. |

Okay then, in order of likeliness:
1. Kubica WDC 2. BMW WCC, also most reliable team 3. Heidfeld coming third in WDC 4. Hamilton second in WDC 4. Vettel regular contender for race wins 5. Bourdais showing surprising pace and mingling with the top team's second drivers 6. Alonso showing flashes of his brilliance but hampered by the Renault 7. Nico Rosberg not achieving anything in the Williams 8. Force India still slow 9. Honda surprising regular in the top half of the field 10. Toyota falling into uninspiring mediocrity (11. Some team axing one of their drivers and recruiting Hülkenberg) |

I can only predict that:
It will rain during at least one of the races. Honda will not start a F1 car GP during the 2009 season. Force India will not win a championship. The Ferrari's will be mostly red. Max Mosley will receive some flak at some point during the season. |

1 - Webber will "surprise" and beat yet another highly rated teammate
2 - Heidfeld to finally get his first F1 victory 3 - Alonso WDC 4 - Ferrari WCC 5 - Piquet replaced by Senna during the season |

Ok, let's look into the crystal ball.
1) BrawnGP will pick up a fastest lap twice this season. 2) Williams will beat Red Bull Racing in the WCC. 3) Mark Webber will be released from Red Bull Racing this year. 4) Mark Webber will win his first GP. 5) Massa to be WDC. |

1. A race will be decided by an incident on track due to the new regs that value a win over points.
2. Kazuki Nakajima will get his first podium. 3. Mark Webber will get his first victory. 4. Button will beat Barrichello 5. Massa will be WDC |

1.There will be a new WDC (Not Raikkonen, Hamilton or Alonso).
2. Some unexpected race winners....BrawnF1??(lets hope so) 3. Race decided by a protest from a racing incident that involves Lewis Hamilton. 4. Mark Webber will NOT win a race. 5. This thread will be back again next year.... Last edited by hando; 26 Mar 2009 at 12:44. Reason: typos |

How did you fare? I must say, my final suggestion (though technically correct) looks hilarious in view of what happened. |

How Kimi ran Lewis close was not exactly how I imagined. I thought KR would run LH close for the WDC. But...Lewis 5th on 49pts and KR 6th on 48pts is pretty close but I can't really claim it 2010 predictions could be pretty difficult |
