Should be the season opener in 2025.3 weeks before Albert Park.

It ended up -2. There would have been a few less than happy with that when they walked out of the teams accommodation in the morning. Not sure what the high was? I think it wasn't to bad.

That date is always going to be a lucky dip weather wise. If it ends up a cold weekend at some stage in the future it could turn off a few people. One of those 7 or 9 degree days with a wind is not going to be fun. Maybe I'm just soft. A late March to very early April would be a little safer. then again it is NZ. So, anything can happen. Xmas day you can have stinking hot one year, cold and wet the next year. A couple of years ago we had no rain for five months, paddocks were brown and no feed. The next year summer lasted about three weeks, mid Jan it started raining and never stopped, grass growth didn't stop.

Double header in NZ as season opener, starting in February would be good.

Good date. Running back to back rounds, where would you run the second round? Hampton being outside of Auckland doesn't help for funding. And trying to double dip the Auckland region year after year could become a bit of a push after the first year or two?

North and South would probably be the best option long term. I don't think Highlands would be an option. Ruapuna would be the best for bums on seats.
Only problem is a lot of money would need to be spent to make that ever happen. There was talk of a new pitlane being built 12 - 13 years ago I think? That didn't happen and probably never will unless Quinn bought it.

Yip, a street race would be pretty cool. Not sure about Dunedin? needs to be where large amounts of people will be happy to go year after year. There is some empty space in Christchurch? But yes, that could be pretty cool and possibly the best option.

Christchurch is clammering to get events back up and running.

The Garden City 500 brought to by Gardenia, Yates, and Selleys maybe?

There are some cool sections of road around the city. You could also talk to the Yanks regarding their Operation Deep Freeze Air Force base there. You can land a Galaxy there, so the front straight should be long enough

We just need to find someone with deep pocket who want to spend their money, motivated and skilled enough to make things happen. Do SC want it? they seem to like big gaps in there product these days. How about a race from Chch to Ashvegas. Wouldn't be the first time.
