I was marshalling on Knicker Brook yesterday, I must say you all seemed to be enjoying yourself out there. To the few of you I had to show a blue flag to, thanks for paying attention & moving over to let the faster traffic through once you had got out of the chicane. It was a good day, only 2 red flags for breakdown recoveries, no body did anything silly so you all got plenty of track time, Hope you'll all come back for the next one.

yeh, thanks to you guys for going out there so we could have our fun as well, it was odd being on the other side of the fencing wasn't it!

Nice to know who it was on Knickerbrook, I did a little acknowledging "oops" wave as I went past after a mini-moment going into Hizzy's on my 2nd lap!
I think I probably had the worst lines through the whole track , but damn it was fun!

I was going to ask the same thing, I've already ordered a 10"x8" print of my little baby 8V (looks like it was as I went through Knickerbrook judging by the gravel trap, direction, tyre barrier etc), but I'd quite like the digital hires version as well for PC wallpaper .

Some great photos by the way ..

Thanks to Keith, Gordon and all the other marshals for your time and attendance, hopefully I didn't give you too much cause for consern when I got Fazzas MR2 sideways coming out of Knickerbrook.

You did have me reaching down for my yellow flag, but before I could display it you had the car straightened up again. Well done.

I just wanted to thank everybody for a great day on Tuesday, only downside was that Mike Budd did not get much tracktime because of problems with his porche, and did not get to run at the same time as Elliot, that would have been fun.
The star of the day for me was the BMW ,I don`t know who was driving it but it took some keeping up with. Thanks also to all the flaggies who gave up their time to give us such a good day.Michael (Silver Leon).

That was a real shame for Mike. I know he wasn't showing any displeasure, but I bet he'd have loved a few more laps. I think we only saw each other on one or two laps. Next year hopefully will be the year for it.

Definitely a big thanks to them all. Got some waves before lunch but never got to go back out just before the end. I was planning on giving them a wave on my in-lap.

It was hard getting over to your side of the car cos of the transmission tunnel. However I think that would not be a problem the closer we got to the lake/barrier.Thanks for a great ride!

Massive thanks to everyone involved, despite a few electrical problems a fantastic day. Many thanks to Alistair for the loan of the DME relay too. Great to see you all again, really missed not being able to attend training day. E mailed Mr Palmer to thank him and had a wonderful reply. Not been too well recently, but I am well on the mend, hence the new hair doo. I will try and get as much as poss in this year and look forward to seeing you all soon

Is there any way to find out what the noise level was of my car at the Oulton track day?

Of course I know it was under the limit as I was allowed on, but it'd be good to know for reference when I attend some 'quieter' days, or if I decide to remove the silencers

I would remove all 4 of them, but I'd still like to be able to pass a circuit noise test, hence the question of how loud it was as standard last week!
