Alan Morgan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thanks for mentioning our site, John. Just to clarify the RP27/Delta confusion, this is what happened.....

I was entered in a black Delta that is currently being rebuilt, and Iain Rowley was entered in a Royale RP27, recently purchased by fellow FF2000 racer, Stuart Olley. Marcus Pye was going to race Iain's blue/yellow Delta. Marcus was called up for commentary duties, and it became obvious that "my" Delta would not be ready, so I changed my entry to Iain's Delta. With Iain up to his eyes in work, it was decided that I should race the Royale as there would not be enough time to prep Iain's car (which had not turned a wheel since Spa 2002). However...... an all-nighter on Friday by Iain got the Delta ready, so he raced that. All clear now?

My first single seater outing since 1979 was punctuated by a cooling hose coming off, ignition timing slipping, exploding clutch, flywheel bolts shearing, water pump pulley falling off etc etc etc. 5 laps testing, 1 lap qualifying, back of grid.

Iain won..........

It's good to see the FF2000 revival. It was good racing in it's day and there must be a lot of cars around waiting to be raced again.

I wish I knew where they were! Half a dozen people came up to us at Cadwell saying that they were looking for a car, but nothing seems to be around at the moment. There are plenty of Reynards and Deltas racing, but where are the Dulons, Eldens and Hawkes?

Yes, by all means, although I always regard them as pictorial reviews rather than reports, as I don't really give enough info. for reports. Oh, and please mention 10-Tenths, and try to get them to join us and contribute!
