MALALLA TEST
Thanks GTR, YES Very positive, times were good, data good, Lou the data guy was impressed with his efforts, Jay Motorsport were happy with the day, did 3 stints of approx 7/9 laps, 3rd driver in the car after Waldon and White, on the same tyres but always with a heavier fuel load, as they fuelled when ever he got in. Steve White was very happy with his efforts, they work a lot together, so his evaluation was probably the most accurate, and he having driven the car, before Elliot, knew how it was when he got in tyre wize. All in All Elliot was happy and he is his greatest critic, so all we need now is THE MONEY!!!.CHEERS.

Strange goings on in the 944 Porsche's it seems.
Allegedly, I hear on the grapevine that the Provisional winner of the 2009 Porsche 944 Challenge was denied the championship when the car wasn't presented for post championship scrutineering. As I am led to believe, because none of the connections had "time to get it done". Very strange it seems? Is this so, can anybody confirm or deny this? |

2009 944 CHAMPIONSHIP [PROVISIONAL]
YES correct and Elliot is unconsoulable, We like you read it on the website, we were NOT told by the commitee, they sent Elliot an e mail last Wednesday, but he has been working for Fastrack in WA, and only found out last nite at 11.30 when he got home. Since the LAST race at Winton Elliots car has been in a FULLY ENCLOSED TRAILER WITH 944 WIRE SEALS BOTH INTERNALLY ON THE BONNETT AND ENGINE AND EXTERNALLY ON THE LOCKING MECHANIZM ON THE TAILGATE PREVENTING ACCESS TO ANY PERSON EXCEPT A 944 OFFICIAL. So it remains in their charge, and yes the workshop has been very busy with a week at Bathurst, a V8 test day in SA, and a wreck to repair and 4 cars to prep and race for 5 days at P/I. RSR, has had many emails to and fro to try to arrange a date which was set last Monday 23/11/09.for 10/12/09. Elliot is only the driver, he doesn't own the car, or pay the bills, or prepair it. RSR preps it and looks after all aspects, what you think Elliot can pull it down for insection??? Any way he's been interstate for 12 of the last 21days, and had a 5 day commitment at P/Island so that's 17 out of 21 days racing. A formal appeal has gone to Michael Smith at CAMS, and Elliot has engaged Mr Peter Wollerman [V8 Supercars driver standards lawyer] to act on his behalf ,to defend him and have the commitees actions reversed, we have many high profile motorsport people supporting us vigorously. THANKS EVERYONE.

very poor indeed.
It truly is a poor way to handle the situation and a denial of natural justice.Very unsportsmanlike to simply disqualify somebody and trash their reputation, close down the 944 forum so nobody can discuss....The car needs to be checked and the results adjusted re the outcome.
