Congrats to Vettel on his second win at Monaco and to Ferrari on their first 1-2 in a while. I can't help but feel Ferrari's pitstops were ''engineered'' in Vettel's favour, then again he is the points leader.

What's with the mural of the sea before the tunnel? It obscures the sea!

Two into wall in same corner and DR tags wall as well. Really bad grip (oil, marbles?) slightly off line?

Has Kimi ever looked more "filthy "?! Now he knows how Rubens and Feillipe felt...

Sometimes pitting early is an advantage. Today it wasn't. But had Bottas and the Red Bulls been fast then it would've worked out a different way and Kimi would've won. |

I had picked Kimi to win one race this year. That should have been it.

well always look forward to this race and as usual lack of overtaking and the cars processing around always spoils things, only real excitement provided by Jensen trying to overtake.

Bit odd. Cold tyres are a norm under SC and 2 of the worlds best binned it. One under yellow itself. A bit amateur hour.

Had they pitted Vettel first and Kimi second then they'd have lost the lead and we'd all be calling them daft for throwing away a 1-2. |

And there has already been more passing than the entire F1 season!

Wasn't too exciting, was it? Fortunately I could monitor my friends' progress at various races at CSCC's Silverstone meet via TSL

Obviously CSCC is better than F1. More racing and better drivers. Goes without saying,

Well even less overtaking than usual thanks to these new cars, but plenty of stories
For me Vettel just outdrove Kimi and Kimi just lost the motivation after that, which is why he nearly got caught by Ricciardo, one wonders if the Honey Badger would have been in front if he hadn't screwed up quali Button's penalty for me robbed us of a good race for him, as he looked good in the car. Now he's got a grid penalty for the incident, if we ever see him again! Lewis did well to salvage some points on a difficult weekend, so well done Finally, whoever thought of the free pass SC rule needs to be got rid of |

Am I the only one who thinks that Lance Stroll resembles Pedro Diniz in terms of talent?Without dad's money would he be in a Williams and without a need for money, would they even consider him worthy with so many talented drivers hovering outside the Formula One circus?

Ferrari didn't screw Kimi, Kimi screwed Kimi. He was slow on the new tyres (still in 1m 16s), he was too slow on the old tyres and holding up Seb allowing Bottas and the RB's to almost catch them. Ferrari had to pit him or the undercut probably would have worked and he would have been 5th.
They just didn't expect Seb to suddenly go 2 secs faster once he had clean air. Kimi also couldn't get close enough to backmarkers for them to get the blue flag. Vettel is right up his jacksy meanwhile Kimi still a mile away from Jense and Pascal. They did certainly make it easier for Bottas though. Oh what really harked me off is everyone pitting or making mistakes to allow that bloody Hamilton to run long and pass them all and end up 7th. |

And Hamilton had the cheek to criticise Ferrari and Vettel for doing exactly that! A tactic he himself has used numerous times in the past. This man really needs to grow up, and face up to his own mistakes. Oh! No of course, it was all the fault of the car ... silly me. |

Makes you wonder if he just stuffed up in qualifying. By the way anyone read the comments where he dropped hints that the Indycar field were weak because Fred went in there and qualified 5th. Oh what really got me laughing was Niki Lauda at the start when Martin was talking to him, saying Ferrari should run a strategy where they drive slow on purpose to bunch the field up. Um, for what purpose? So Hamilton can undercut them? It's like he was trying to fool them into a strategy switch. Perhaps he meant just the 2nd place Ferrari, but he didn't say that. |
