Slow start for the weathertech car or bmw too eager? Seemed like a very controlled speed to slam into the rear of the guy in front.

100% Spengler in #25 BMW at fault with that. Very dumb. His foot hit the gas pedal just so suddenly. No surprise it caused a debris safety car 10 minutes in...good case for Code 60 here by the way. Should be implemented for stalled car and debris situations.

Any known reason why the yellow is out this long?
Took about 45 seconds to shift that debris. |

Freaking snotsnorts. I got busy and missed the green flag, tuned in as soon as I realized, and found out that somebody borked the start .... FCY already.
I guess those children need constant supervision. |

The fair, it was side by side when green, so that's cool. Radio le mans synced up with nbc video is fine for me right now
I'm actually interested in seeing some attrition. It's just part of endurance racing that has been missing. Adds that extra stress into what may happen at any time, rather than a 5 or so car train at the front lap after lap. And as I typed this, a full commercial break without side by side, already.... third commercial break already, two being no side by side with one during caution. Not ideal to say the least.... |

I am gutted for the Weathertech Porsche team. That was totally undeserved.

Will be fun to see how much ground the McNeil porsche can recover with 23 hours to go and likely plenty of cautions.
