Look at their performances over the season. Are you really saying its just a qually advantage?

How many seasons would you like to take the analysis over?

For what it's worth (very little) Lewis is a brilliant natural racer who can work on a race-by-race basis. He is, in some respects, similar to Montoya. I predicted that Montoya would never win a WDC as long as his @rse pointed south. I was right (ask Knowlesy) . Lewis lucked in to his WDC, even though, arguably, he had the best car, and it will be a long time before he does it again, if ever. Of the two, Button is more likely to be WDC again. Factor in Button's position in the McLaren team and Garc may have more of a point. So, this weekend Button looked down and no wonder, he's been blitzed by his team mate. But we have a race to go and we have seen Lewis drop his chin for the entire weekend, not just a qualifying session. |

Respectfully, I completely disagree if you take the respective cars as a factor out of it. Hamilton lucking into the 08 championship? Again, naah. Button wouldn't have been good enough to seal that one. Button may be more likely to be champ again, because he's with McLaren.

No way Hamilton would join a team unless they gave him some kind of insurance that they can make something fast next year. But this isn't really relevant to the Abu Dhabi-Dhabi race |

I thought you might've meant in terms of consistency over a season.

No surprises, Seb to the back of the grid for not having enough fuel in his car in qualifying

That's the last thing he needed apart from a DNF tomorrow.

I expect him to finish well. Christian Horner's expression, when asked by Gary A, why Seb had stopped, was a picture.

So, do we think it's a one stop race?

We've had a lot of talk here about Vettel's ability to charge through the field. Tomorrow we should get some assistance towards an answer.
Ouch though - not a great circuit to pick to do this. |
