If the supposed Handy return to BTCC happens then I will buy, and eat, a #HARD bobble hat. They're gone, budget blown and nowt to show for it. Should have continued with the Toyota, that was a well developed and competitive car.

Also people are talking of the subarus turning up but I'm guessing they only ever had RML kit. |

Subarus entered BTCC competition with RML suspension. Might be possible to retrofit the GPRM, but I would think more cost effective to simply buy a GPRM equipped car to start with.

I think this is a great idea, gives these cars a bit more of a runaround

Considering Linesy is able to determine the rules and regs as he goes along, in pretty sure he wouldn't exclude a RML car considering the attention it would bring

Aye. Good on young Aidan, be interesting if he and his team can develop these and unlock potential.

With a driver with NGTC experience driving it, there is no way it can be as bad as it was in 2015

they will have the old gprm components so his current ngtc experience probably won’t be very relevent to them. but either way like you say they couldn’t be as bad as previously

I see Lea Wood is looking to join the series as he’s stepping back from the Pick-up championship. He’ll be a good addition to the grid if he does get a ride.

Lea Wood, now there's a name that will be good to see back in tin tops

Would be a shame to lose him from pickups though. He's really good in those.

It'll be interesting to see how the pickups get on without Rockingham - maybe that's why drivers are looking elsewhere? It'd be a shame if the pickups do lose drivers as the racing is usually pretty good.

The Alfa will be on the grid if someone has the $$$ to fund it. I'd be more interested in Aidan Moffats Infinitis to be honest.
Considering the time they had to cosmetically prepare that car for the show it's a mess to my eyes. Panel gaps, grumble grumble... |

Yeah, it's not like they are going to prioritise it over the BTCC

Lines has said on FB that they have 8 confirmed entries already with about the same again just finalising their deals.
I think if there are a few decent names & teams in that lot it could persuade a few more to join, which would push the grids to around 20 cars |

I would be inclined to agree, if he could muster up circa 10 TCR cars.

This sounds very promising in terms of number of entries. If Stewart pulls this off then hats off to him; he will have done What TCR UK failed to do - i.e. identify and develop an attractive package for those who BTCC is too costly (money and time) but want to step up from club racing.
