He did stress that this doesnt mean the end for Team Australia (he in fact predicted big things for Team Australia and Will Power)

He appeared to be quite saddened at closing the team down
Well if the latest reports out of the States are any indication he won't be in ChampCar either. Walker has announced he's pulling the plug and going to IRL.
He also mentioned that he had not yet been paid by certain unnamed sponsors.

Meanwhile, drifting star and motorcycle stuntman Robbie Bolger has emerged as a surprise contender for the racing licence being sold by WPS Racing.
It is believed the reigning Australian Drift Champion is one of a number of interested parties in the Level One licence.
Larry Perkins has already purchased WPS Racings second Level One licence, having sold it to WPS boss Craig Gore originally.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sto...-39478,00.html

on "The SPEED Report" TV show that Walker is owed $1.5 million by Craig Gore, owner of Aussie Vineyards and sponsor of Walker's team aka Team Australia.

rubbish. GM's "loss" was a tax credit write off. GM didn't "lose" a dollar from that but it appears on the balance sheet. media sensationalism at its best.

Perhaps in the end, the ego really was bigger than the bank balance ...

But, on the other side of the ledger, he did have a go despite being less than popular with those in the Tower of Power.

If it has, then quite obviously David Thexton is going to win the 2008 championship.

Go David Go!!!

for sure Speedy would he could do it in any car any team against any driver, certainly should be in F1 would win the WDC with out a doubt .

Robbie Boldger would be a great inclusion to the sport he is a great personality, a crack up, i could just imagine a Morris Ingall, Wilson as drivers of PMM Commodores with Robbie doing the interviews after the biff's on the track , if he does enter i think it would be with a PMM beast.

wonder if the V.I.P sponsership from the drift cars would carry over even as a small sponser (with obviously WOW as major if Mad Max gets the gig).

Where do you get the idea that PMM is going to run 3 cars this year

They havent even been able to run 1 car in the top 1/2 of the field over the last few years, so why would they run 3

i don't know but it would be fun, nobody would mess with them and he seems to have links with PMM with the drift cars running a fairbit of Morris gear.

PMM still have Morris' car from last year Hercules (think thats the correct code name).

Simple really - 3 times the potential exposure when their cars break/hit an immoveable object/hit a moving object/get hit by another object (delete those not suited to each event).

Bolger and Morris now have the Gore level 1 licence, would Bairdo leave a decent CC drive or will Bargs/Wilson get a lifeline thrown their way?

Aint you a guru Mr Just Do It! Sir?

Work from the sheep dags is that Team Sheep was trying to do an upgrade to that new licence, and almost had the money in place to do it.

Then DJ woke up.

I'd hate to be picking up the bar tab for that trio.

Was he trying to broker the race to A1GP instead of his "rival", Tony George?
