Qualifications Day 1
A very impressive performance from Team Penske, can they repeat that tomorrow? |

So looks like Siegel gonna be the odd man out unless they find something against Legge, Ericsson and Rahal. Man the RLL speedway program isn't great is it

Everything about Ganassi seemed to be a head scratcher. No one running tomorrow outside of the gotta make the field group seems odd for them
Just realized isn't Sato running a RLL car? And that far in front of the rest is nuts for a one off. Or is Graham just that far off |

WTF with the Chev plenum fires? Some strong runs spoiled by the Chevy problems - quick until the Pops though!
Fantastic & emotional last run from Vikay - that was special & his Chev behaved. Roll on the fast 12 tomorrow. |

I feel like it might be Nolan Siegel, his new car seems to be handling like a shopping trolley.
As for pole, Penske have it, just depends which one of them gets it. |

He's using the road course car from last week and the road course cars aren't nearly as massaged as the Indy specials are. I would guess he's the odd man out too

Sato being Sato, 232 all 4 laps. He's probably just outside the Fast 6, think O'Ward is probably last in at mid 232s
Larson SCREAMING in corners, and 5th gear earlier than everyone else. Throwing out at 233.4 first lap is nuts, rookie on pole would be hilarious, guaranteed to run again in Fast 6 now Last edited by broadrun96; 19 May 2024 at 19:33. |

Foyt car on the top of the pylon, Ferrucci has the best finishing record of anyone with 5 starts since the 50s?? Damn the kid can pedal a slippery car it seems
232.7 is pretty good for staying in the Fast 6 with the Penske and McLarens left to go. Don't think the Hondas have it in them |

Larson gonna be in trouble if he runs late in Fast 6 trying to get on the track at N Wilkesboro tonight.
Jeff Gordon looks younger and more smoothed than when he raced. And Rossi said uh, upstart kid sit down, I got this Ferrucci gonna trim it out more? Dear God man there's not much left on it |

Only Penske cars left, I have a feeling all 3 will make it to fast 6.

The shootout for the top is exciting, but now we transition to the gut wrenching part. Who is going to be on the sidelines next week....
