Coming back to the original thread. Why do we need to slow F1 down anyway? As I have suggested before…. They aint fast enough now! Pre war Grand Prix cars were exceeding 200 mph with bicycle sized wheels and litte more than a prayer to slow ‘em down!
It’s the braking distance that needs to be addressed. Ban front wings, ban high noses (e.g CART/IRL) and impose a single element rear wing with a restricted surface area. Oh and please bring back fat slicks. F1 cars should look sexy, and not like overgrown F3’s! |
