Keep working on it boys...
This old Viper held the best of the field this year, before it had problems (well, at each race, I have to admit)...

Thommy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Mike Gramke? Never heard...

Ernst Breuer is a belgium Tuner. And i remember the Zonda- Engine was not as quick as Hezemans wished it would be...

BTW, the Murcielago- Engine which failed was also Breuer- tuned...

hadn't actually heard about the ES motorsport effort, but the site looks pretty professional.

Are they planning to be at Le Mans 2004?

Some news:

Last Thursday the Pagani Zonda did a test at Zolder circuit (Belgium). Anthony Kumpen was impressed by the new V12 7L Mercedes engine, but because of heavy traffic he could not push the car to the limit. Alliot, Jabouille, father & son Hezemans and Mr Pagani himself were at the circuit.

The good news: They will do 24H LM, French GT and LMES, but also enter a car in the Spanish GT championship. There is also some interest from Italy. Don't know if they enter 1 or 2 cars in LM and LMES. According to Anthony Kumpen they want to win the GT championship in LMES!

The bad news: They will miss the first FiaGT race because some parts are not homologated.
Anthony Kumpen:
Quote:
These parts are in the pipeline, but the time is to short to get these parts homologated. The French Championship and LMES have priority. Halliday, Alliot, Hezemans and I will share the car.
Probably Halliday and Alliot will drive the car in France. I and Hezemans will drive at LM, LMES and Fia GT.

Is this the Carsport America team or a different team? I doubt it is Carsport America since they are running the Viper at Sebring. But is it the same car chassis or a completely different built up one?

It is ForceOne and Carsport Holland.

Are these 2 teams now working together.

Good to see Mr Pagani is still involved

To be honest, I'm afraid that the ACO is not going to put them on the Le Mans 24 hour entry-list. They didn't quit perform very well last year. They also won't compete in Sebring so they can't demonstrate how far the car is developed over the winter.
But I 'm glad that the project is still alive.

I would have thought it was a guaranteed entry. With the LMES there is no need for a Sebring entry.

They will be at Le Mans, LMES, 24H of Spa and probably some FIA-GT rounds in the second half of the season

Even if it seems not so fair, I think ACO will let the car enter once more ; Halliday and Alliot are really welcome on the grid, and the car is a good alternative choice on the GT grid... I'm optimistic for Le Mans, in 2004 at least, especially if the Spyker is unfortunately not there.

That's very good news, FIRE ! Thanks !

And they are French. (or isn't that a reason?)
BTW We can't have only 550's and 575's on the grid.

Not the fact that they're french, but the fact that they're quite famous in France : David Halliday is a singer, and son of a singer, and Alliot quite known as a pilot. And they did not so bad as pilots last year.
