just because they run GM cars in Britain, i don't think will affect what they do out here.

Does 888 Australia actually have anyhting much to do with 888 Engineering, apart from the name, there are seperate owners for the Australian effort.

You would think that the other seat will go to a European, but we all thought the same when Prodrive arrived, and none of them even showed for Bathurst.

I would be very happy for Mr McLean if he were to get the seat.... a wasted talent who did very good things in that Kmart car at the weekend before handing it over to someone not experienced with the vehicle

Yep, the companies are two different entity's. 888 Australia was formed by original 888 Uk founders Roland Dane, Derek Warwick, and Ian Harrison(who now wholy owns the UK 888. There's also an Irish businessman in on the new company too.
