Mark would certainly be my 'heroic' driver of the day.

Well that's a laugh. Imola comes to mind, as does Nurburgring. One saw a flawless race from Fernando as he held off Michael for the final laps. The other saw Kimi ruin his race by making two large errors, leading to mechanical failure.

Alonso has made one mistake all year, at Canada. It was unusual how he lost his head that day, out of character. I'll bet it doesn't happen again.

I'm a Kimi fan as much as an Alonso fan, but I think Fernando holds the edge over Kimi very slightly in most departments.

I dont hate F1.
F1 hates fans..... its a corporate struggle of FIA , Sponsors and Manufacturers.

Im a Kimi fan....even if he drove for Minardi or Jordan, he would remain competitive.
I hope he goes to Ferrari to put the Fear back in Feararri.

Shoemaker is too swishy for such a strong team....

He continued "We weren't as a team having the best of weekends which made Mark's commitment all the more remarkable, but his attitude is representative of the whole team - we are 100% committed and if you have the courage to stick to your gameplan, it can pay dividends."

For his part, Webber said at the Williams factory today, "Yes, it was pretty uncomfortable, but I got through it because I wanted a qualifying slot next weekend at Silverstone. It hurts a fair bit, but there's no question of it stopping me racing next weekend, no way."

Can we add Mark to the list, please!!
