I was thinking about this further. As this car has a yellow rollcage, then it could be one of the two CAT 600 Falcons driven by John Bowe.

Either as Bondy_racing suggests, the ex. Mike Olsen car which was the first Briggs built AU for 2001, which was John Bowe's CAT car, or it's predecessor which was originally built by PAE in WA until the operation was fully taken over by John Briggs.

This PAE was last used by Rupprecht Motorsport as Car 87. I am wondering if there is a link with the car number.

The Roll Cage on the Original Cat Car was Yellow but then it was painted silver by Halliday, so i doubt thats the car that Falk is Driving.

The Changes to the Stone Brothers chassis is as a result of more research which has SBR AU1 being the Mark Larkham Car that he took with him when he restarted his own team. Howards Racing ran Aaron McGill in 4 rounds in 04 . It run as 83 at EC, 38 at QR, 83 at Mallala, & 27 at Bathurst . The car arrived back on the gold coast in Jan 07

GMR still has a VZ in the shed, the oldest of the 3 (the chassis Mr Richards ran before they reshelled it late last season) so I dont think the numbers are right there.

Mr Hobson in #98 is another ex-GRM VY...

One of the two HPM cars is an ex PWR AU, while it was suggested recently that the second car may end up as Frosty's championship winning AU of a few seasons ago....

I assume that you mean the car he drove in 03, as the car he drove in 04 was a DJR AU, now either the one that Greg Smith drove last year (in the same fujitsu artrwork), or the car Will Davison drove ar QR in 2005, and then by Marcus La Delle last year.

That would put Sharpe in T8#006, Thompson in T8#007 and Howard in
T8#008. T8#005 was sold by Howard to PCR at the start of last year and was run by them until the Bathurst crash. As the ex Larkham chassis PCR used in now in the hands of Speed FX Racing, I assume T8#005 will see service again in the main game with John Bowe at the wheel.

Sounds like Assaillit car is the ex Ellery/Kanga Loaders AU.

I thought Tony D'Alberto was trading up to 2 newer spec HRT/HSV machines. Any news on that front?

Keep all the information coming. I have been informed that the Briggs/888 Car that went to PCR is Chassis #6. So I have Adam Sharpe in Chassis JBMS005. I am pretty sure the Aaron McGill car from last year is an ex. Seton Car and would assume this to be one of the cars HPM Racing will be using. The PWR Cars have gone to (as of last year):
PWR1 - Chance of a Lifetime, not sure if that has been sold on?
PWR2 - John Henderson
PWR3 - For Sale in NZ
PWR4 - Adam Sharpe in UK
PWR5 - Adam Sharpe Car 44 in the Fujitsu last year.
Not sure if they have new owners for 2007

DJR 09 I believe. Even though it had a birthday a few years ago when run by Ross Halliday ( the yelow interior became red), it's getting very long in the tooth. I doubt we will see much of it at the pointy end this year, assumimg Mr Youlden takes the wheel of the ex Silver Streak GSR machine..

Especially facing off against the last 4 VZ chassis built by Mr Walkinshaw....
