Excellent, thanks for that. I'm sure I read somewhere that it may not be. Great news!

Good to see them heading back to the ALMS for some rounds,
Have to say i was hoping for a 2 car team with some factory aston drivers.
Any news on a Vantage team for FIA GT or full time ALMS?

Barwell are teaming up with Beechdean

Their putting cars in Brit GT and FIA GT3.

PS you have no idea how much i checked for info from AMR yesterday. I may have used a whole months mobile WiFi in a day

Between which lines do you see that? I would be very surprised to see JWA with Vantages.

I saw an article some time last year mentioning that JWA hope to have two Vantage GT2's for '09.

DSC hinted that JWA's 2 cars for GT2 would not be one of the 2 obvious marques.

I'd have to guess they'll have 2 Astons now. I doubt they'd have a Spyker, Panoz, BMW, Corvette, etc.

Apologies for misinformation in post 716, stand is as usual but magazine did not list it! Understand Subaru exhibit was late addition to fill a space so perhaps wires got crossed

Excellent news, perhaps we will know one way or another by around March. If they have a car built by then they could just about be ready for the LMS, and then Le Mans if all goes well.

Hang about - the next paragraph in David Brabham interview goes:

"I've been fortunate to have Aston Martin Racing ask me for several years to be involved in their programme. They haven't rung me this year because there's probably no programme."

That's not so good...

David is of course involved in another manufacturers programme this year - the market is hardly in a stable state and June is still months away!

Time to calm down and show a little patience everyone and look at whether this would have been sensible timing for an announcement - (Clue - no it wouldn't!)

There is a massive amount going on behind the scenes - Much more than has been noted here!

About GT1, it is contradictory to what Richards said.

Not sure what you mean, but I see no confirmation there by Richards of a GT1 programme for Le Mans.
