My name is Adam Myers, and it is a very boring name. I'm 5'10.5" tall, weigh 180 pounds, and there is nothing more refreshing to me than a cold bottle of Yoo-Hoo. I've submitted only one of my designs to the old E-Tracks page and none to Conrad's page, if you care to know.

However, i think we should wait a bit with this project. I, for one, dont really know what the full idea is behind it, and i think we should take our time and put in a proper organisation, including a seperate website, in. We're in no hurry, and i think rushing away with this will do some severe damage to the project. Plus, i dont think everyone who has contributed should be included in an ITDA. I think of it more as a 'sign-up-yourself' thing. I dont see what we need it for anyway. I think we should wait a bit, and, as stated above, put in a proper organisation. I, for one, would be happy to head such an organisation into existance. In any case, even if i'm against the project, i by far prefer my name and logo. ITDA sounds crisp, and the logo is crisp. IMCDT looks and sounds kinda clumsy, and it wouldnt look nice in a logo. But bottomline of this is, that we shouldnt rush through with ITDA just yet. We've got no need to hurry. Besides, if we put up a proper design team, you all must stress that real-life trackdesigning is not just putting pen to paper and drawing a line. It involves the topography of the site, the wishes of the buyers and not to forget the financial limits. This being in mind, i dont think anyone and anything are granted the right to participate. Making a fully realistic track would be impossible if we are more than 6-7 of us. |

One very essential part of any professional design is the utilization and integration of computer-aided drafting software. The plans need to dimension everything down to a fraction of an inch, or to the millimeter, depending on the units used. That is, the track's length, width, turn radius, kerbs, fencing, access roads, marshal stands, pit buildings, grandstands, and anything else you can think of, separating them with line thickness, color, style, and level. Everything needs to be dimensioned.
I can be of great service in this regard, as I am well-learned with multiple CAD programs, and have easy access to them at school. |

For those in the UK:
Who just saw Top Gear? The Stig in this year's Renault R24 F1 car round the Top Gear Test Track A full 20 seconds faster than the Ferrari Enzo in the wet The average road car laps in around 1m40 to 1m45, the Enzo does it in 1m19.00, and the R24 did it in 59.00 Amazing...

Yeah that was the best episode ever, easierly. The race to Switzerland was just cool, and the evo and Bobsleigh, and then the F1 car, well that was amazing! What a Christmas gift from the BBC! |
