So which LMP2 will be next to dive through the leading GTD Porsches?
Edit - Bit of both there, Vanthoor leads ... for now. |

Bah, too hot-headed in the end.
Amazing racing until the bus stop though. |

That GTD fight was amazing. I am pretty sure there will be some stern words after this, though.

Spiderman celebration, of course.
They were quickest at the right time, congratulations. Easy to say in hindsight, but why not Albuquerque in the car to finish? Edit - No fault assigned in GTD. About right, both were bump'n'running for the last two laps. |

Pfaff car was never making the chicane if it didnt hit the KCMG car but Vanthoor was using the front bumper for the last 90 minutes so im good if theres no penalty. Live by the sword, die by the sword..

Great fight in GTD at the end, but the way Vanthoor 3-4 times tried to bump Jaminet into the corners, IMO, is not clean racing. If you are so quick try and make a clean pass without shuffling the other car onto the gras. Got to admit I was laughing when he spun in the bus stop on the last lap. Desperate move.

I'm sure Taylor didn't close last year though. I can understand if the win is secure - and I'm not saying Taylor is rubbish (that's Will Stevens) - but Rossi or Felipe would have been better for the finish.
Still, not to take away from MSR. Blomqvist & Castroneves in particular dragged the #60 to the front. |

Looked like Jaminet just took his line through the Bus Stop and Vanthoor tried to launch it across the grass. Lucky not to take both cars out.

Yeah, while the ending felt a bit bad, I think it was sensible. If there should be a penalty, both should have gotten a warning a few times before that. |

They where both giving it to each other so I have nothing against that outcome, Vanthoor was always gonna have a crack since it’s just a one off race for them
