And is Cammish's seat at NAPA Racing based on anything more than Duckhams using similar colours to NAPA?

Not that it really matters, and just out of interest as a discussion point - I thought that the older Infintis were retained by A1 Automotive and are purely used as show cars now, with very few running parts fitted?

Either way - the use of an Infiniti by HARD. with Dexter Patterson behind the wheel - interesting, but not really worthy of the status as a solid rumour I think.

Both of the original cars have been used as show cars. Not sure who actually owned them though.

One of he original cars was recently sold to Richard Hawken. That had been made a runner again.

Yeah agreed, always interesting to see who has an eye on BTCC as a possible future option. Probably more intrigue over the Infiniti’s and who is going to run them next year, if they appear on the grid at all?

I mean that he hasn't even been confirmed as driving in 2022, but you have him without any ?'s in the non-NAPA team. If that is a guess, no worries.

By 24th Dec, that figure had risen to 11 confirmed drivers and people were complaining about the lack of quality on the grid (typical for BTCC fans).

The Cavalier is for sale at the moment, owned by Darren Fielding. The Nissan now resides in Belgium I think.

For clarity - unless I have missed a press release, the only publicly confirmed drives in BTCC for 2022 (currently) are:

It won't enter the BTCC again, as, like me is older and outclassed by the newer version that Ash Sutton drove and cleaned up in this year.

So what are the plans?
Firstly, I will shake it down at the Team HARD corporate day at Brands Hatch on the 16th before stripping it and asking my dear friends at D&B Coachworks Ltd (who originally sprayed both Q50s) to paint it a nice metallic black, then put our corporate EMM London logos on it and use it for passenger rides, track events, entertainment and promotion, with the continued support from Tony and his team, who will be running in the BTCC in 2022.

Secondly, it will enter my collection as a part of my history. Shouldn't have sold my Nissan Super Touring Car really, so won't make the same mistake again.
