It was very tidy - also interestingly had numbers on it (378) and judging by the stickers in the rear side windows is used for classic road events so it's not just an ornament but a properly used car.

Re the Scimitar GTE I remember desperately trying to persuade my Dad to get one back in the day. He ended up with a 3 litre Capri as he didnt like the idea of a 'plastic' car.

That's what it was, was trying to remember why I knew Scimitar and didn't think my dad or grandpa had one in their collection of not good British Isle cars, MG B x2, Healy Spridget x 2, Spitfire x 1 and at least 2 Hillman. Yeah, not idea why Grandpa ended up with a Hillman and then went back for more but wish that was one in the garage instead of junk wine that was there

In a similar fashion, this Scrambler has been right here for years. Don't see many CJ8s on the road anymore. That's an early 90s step side extend cab Chevy there too.

Advance notice of open day .23rd April at AS Motorsport .About 10 AM till 4 or 5 PM . No charge and usually coffee & food available .

And now for something completely different

Pulled up at the market, just got a rebuild done this winter. Apparently it decided to break a piston but driven like an old MG meant it just broke and kept kinda working. He said both sides of the piston skirt cracked below the pin

Missed the 2 Chevy and 1 Caddy 50s cars at the WH, across the street from THE Waffle House. And a little Peugeot convertible thing on the drive home, weird little one with the roof rails and fabric top like a Smart.
