Agreed Tourer - definitely another option.

When does Tony's category management rights expire?

If VASC running GT was the aim, this seems the most logical progression. But logic & motorsport don't seem to go together.

And flies in the face of the Audi Asian series trumping Australian GT3 series in Adelaide. I still think there more at play here in this country with the GT3 category then has been uncovered so far.

Yep, all that. As I said before, I'm not sure we can substantiate an Enduro and a Sprint series in this country at this time, that may be one problem. But there's a lot going on here, and as you've highlighted, a lot not going on.

Would Supercars really want to run things for Quinn as just a sub-contractor and not having a final say on things?

If teams choose to compete in the SRO series that has one race in November, one in December and then one in February, over competing in a national series during the other months, then there is a high chance they were likely never going to do the national series in the first place

Audi Australia have never raced cars in NZ, so why would they go this year?

Melbourne Performance Centre however take their cars where their customers want to go, of which they took 1 car to New Zealand.

Depends on the deal doesn't it? If by running the operations, Supercars make all the calls, pay CAMS the management fee, deal with the competitors and TQ is not much more than a figurehead, it might work for Supercars. Whether it would work for CAMS could be another matter and whether or not CAMS could block it would depend on the terms of the CMA.

I'm only spitballing but it feels like one of several possible options.

Indeed, there may be a non-subcontracting without prior approval clause with or without the caveat [which CAMS will not unreasonably withhold]

Key word there being Customer. Its not a factory squad, they go where their car owners tell them to.

Are we really going to go down this pedantic route? FFS....

In AA this week, Mr P.Radisich is mentioned as running for the first time in many years, aboard a Kiwi-run Mercedes-AMG SLS at the last round of the year.

Be interesting to see how he goes after so long out of the saddle

Seems AGT is not the only GT series that sometimes is a bit light on competitor numbers.

Sepang 12 hour cancelled: Not Happening

Maybe there's simply too many different series and events for the same cars?

I thought all the AGT competitors were abandoning the series to compete in this event & it's two contemporaries?

Thats a huge shame that this race, originally known as the "Merdeka Millennium" 12hr has been cancelled.

The event used to be huge with a massive amount of entries, even just a few years ago.

The race's downfall seemed to coincide with SRO taking it over, changing the date and focusing the event on GT3 cars.

No live coverage for the Highlands race. I don't think they've ever live streamed it?

14 cars confirmed to race. No Radisich.
