With my limited french I think it says they will be 48 cars only at Valencia, with the entry being decided by the GT2 qualifying times at Monza. The slowest three cars will not be going to Valencia.

Bit of a ****er for a team that has to travel a long distance !!!

Overall , its a pretty exciting entry , you have to admit ?

Wonder what Chad are going to do with their 2nd Panoz , maye FFSA ?

With Audi not there , it looks like it will be a great battle .

Courage will have Cochet-Frei in one car , and i suspect Gounon is in the picture too .

with lack of statements coming from Creation, I was kinda surprised to see them have a full season entry...kinda...
I am still surprised that GT2 have so many entires given that it appears the some P teams have been left out...

I'm not sure that any "real" LMP teams have been left out. Debora?

Zulltec didn't apply.
Melchester apparently are a mirage for now.
Who knows about the phantom Indian Courage... is it even real? If so, they'll have to look at America now.

What of PSI though?
James Watt? No entries??
GPC - only one... bit of a suprise I suppose.

Thats an interesting thought - I wonder if there are any teams that will seriously consider heading for ALMS.

What now happens to the teams that wanted to do part of the season, such as Lister. I guess they will hope some of the entry drops out - or they may have to go to ALMS.

What is very apparant is how strong the series is becomming - lets hope the ACO back this up with the right promotional, spectator and TV package.

The Endurance Info article suggests that the ACO will allow race-by-race entries at tracks where they can be supported, so projects like Lister should be okay. I'd also be mildly unsurprised if some of these entries don't do the full season (although it should be more buoyant than last year given the limited number of notional two-car teams).

While it's disappointing that projects like the Indian Courage appear to have come to naught, it does seem reassuring that the ACO's been able to focus on getting cars that actually exist onto the entry list.

I think it's fantastic to see Janis in a Spyker. This way it's easier to judge the car's potential, with a quick and reliable driver behind the wheel. I'm really looking forward to how far they can take this little silver-orange rocket.

Only just read the list - the roll call in LMP1 exceeds anything we've seen anywhere for quite a number of years. We really are in for a treat this year (just hope the LMP1 entry for Le Mans looks as good)!

The question was about , the only teams to get 2 entries apart from GT2 are all french .

I pointed out , who else has a 2 car team on the list , that only got 1 entry apart from GT2 .

No real suprises. Just one thing on Tom Chilton, he will not be able to the Valencia as the BTCC are at Thruxton that weekend.

As opposed to the drivers they've had in previous seasons? Please. Janis, while I think he's a real talent, has had only one season (2006 in the Zakspeed Saleen) where he has consistently shone. Other than that? Flashes of speed in MenX cars.

However, Dumbreck, Kane, Kox, Hezemans, Coronel, etc. etc. are all, demonstrably, talents sufficient to warrant the tag "quick and reliable" and worthy of judging the car's potential.
