Hill will be Racing for a different team, but with the Jag/BMR/Sutton project falling apart, the current Champion is on the market looking for a ride.

would argue Motorbase had a strong lineup in 2014 Mat Jackson, Giovanardi and the promising Jack Clarke (whatever happened to him ?) but the car simply was not that great

Cammish should be a natural title contender next year. Exciting to see who's his teammate in NAPA Racing UK. If it's Sutton, then it seems like a great season for Motorbase is coming...

Sutton and Cammish at Motorbase would be an immense paring. Two of the best drivers in identical machinery? Bring it on!

I assume you are referring to the 2019 season when just 2 points differentiated the two drivers, which allowed Cammish to finish on equal points to Jordan. I would argue that Jordan denied Turkington of points, and allowed Cammish to almost beat Jordan. I stand by my thoughts that they could or would rob each other of points. From a spectators point of view it's great to see team mates competing, but in reality, from a team's point of view, it is usually better to have a really strong second driver to back up your number one and also to act as a rear gunner. |

Very difficult to get the blend of two drivers at a top team, as in a ideal world you want a "number two" driver to support your main man, and they need to be good enough to be up there to support him, and to win races for the team when your main man is pegged back, but it rarely works with two genuinely elite drivers who want to win/are realistically capable of winning the title. Turkington and Collard were probably the best pairing. Turkington was genuinely elite and Collard wasn't too far off the pace and has been well in the title race at the halfway point in the season, but you always felt he would drop off towards the end with the ballast on and his generally sub-par qualifying performances, but he was always good enough to be up there not too far behind Turkington. |

It was definitely symbolic of him returning to BTCC from Porsche racing. I doubt they would show Sutton turning up in an Infinity though. Certainly not if Infinity will still have a presence in BTCC next season at least… |

It included DanCam driving a Porsche whilst listening to BTCC races, then stepping out of the car and into NAPA.... If it wasn't intended, the allegory seemed fairly strong. And with that announcement, the publicly confirmed drives (in green) reaches six with no Jack Sears-eliglble entries (yet): |

I presume the connection to NAPA is via Osborne's tool distribution business?

I'd also reckon HARD will be most likely to be just in front of the Doctors car on the opening lap... the HARD finance model gets cars on a grid, but demonstrates a total lack of ambition. I wouldn't bet against Ash Sutton winning, whatever he may be driving, the lad has a gift. |

Autosport magazine mentioning Ollie Jackson and Sam Osborne returning to drive the Ford Focus for 2022.
And there’s serious hints about another big name driver joining Dan Cam as well. Who else could that be other than Ash Sutton….? |

Depends who you class as a big name these days. Is Plato still a big name within btcc?

So could cover Plato in my opinion. But hints and rumours pointing to Ash. I recall mention of some hint from Plato about his possible destination for 2022 but not aware of what was said. |

I heard a rumour some time back about a new RWD car on the grid for 2022. Is that likely?
