Is both the #12 and #38 JOTA Porsches going to be in the gold Hertz livery? If anybody knows.

Another nice thing to look forward to. This is going to sound so much better. Pity it won't be ready for Le Mans but it's also nice to spread the new things out to keep it interesting.

The car in its current form looks very reliable and fast so no wonder they're not rushing things with remaining updates. Still can't wait to hear the updated sound

If Porsche is quick now, just imagine how much quicker they’ll go with the updates

After all, he co-wrote the book "The Unfair Advantage" with Mark Donahue., on how to get the most out of any car or driver.

And now Porsche might not have their upgraded engine after all.
https://www.motorsport.com/wec/news/...gine/10611121/ The current one is working just fine! |

This made me laugh since it was a topic on the forum in the past. In a DSC article Jensen said this about their Jota car vs the Penske cars:

Further confirmation that a new crankshaft is rather unlikely. But there may be more updates to the car, this time focused on performance (all updates for 2024 were for reliability officialy). |

I wondered if they might scrap the new crankshaft plan after a strong start to the year. I hope not. The current engine sounds so bland.

Well, the speed is still in there - in the #6 at least.

Driver Comparison

Well it is hard to read too much into a race with changeable conditions, but here's the data. Average Lap time
Posted to see if we can see any Lotterer stuff. Less laps, less speed. Hmm. He's a favourite of mine. For whatever reason he wasn't a player that weekend. Charts show the spread. Two scales are provided to give a little flavour of the dry periods and wet periods. Even the bigger scale chart is truncated before the SC periods. Last edited by Adam43; 30 Jun 2024 at 22:13. |

True but in the end it didn't really matter with this amount of safety cars Also Andre wasn't surely as quick as Estre and especially Vanthoor but in the early hours he suffered extra from "AF Corse strategist" (someone in the race thread joked about Penske hiring AF Corse personnel) that made him do 2 unnecesary stops for tyres

Even just top 10 (of fastest) he’s not within 1.5s. Did he get any completely dry running? Quote:
I don’t think we are any closer to understanding why Obviously it could be not so much dry runnin for this data, but they clearly kept his laps down. |

I am worried that we don't have enough data and we haven't covered the other Porsches.
Average Lap time
