My camera-toting was revolutionised when I bought a camera bag/rucksack and finally discarded my old over the shoulder camera bag. So comfortable and easy to carry and I don't end up with the need for treatment on the shoulder when I get home. It's also an issue for me this year as, after my op, I'm still not able to carry anything heavy for another 4-6 weeks....

Always take a camera. Sadly never seems to be any cars in the photos though!

I was going back through the entries in the guestbook on my website and I found this... Couldn't resist posting it - from July 2001 - and it's quickly followed by entries by Guy Smith and Andy Wallace. I had a link on their websites back then.....

Guy Smith said - 'What did you think of the last Le Mans?' - Lots of fun and great support from the fans they really made the event especially considering the weather Oh yeah shame we retired so bloody early!!! Great site, VERY impressed its great to see someone putting an effort in to sportscars keep up the good work! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
Andy Wallace said - 'Have you been to Le Mans?' Yes - 3 times as an anorak + 13 times on the other side of the fence 'What did you think of the last Le Mans?' Wet slippery and more wet & slippery Like your site - keep up the good work Oh and this was Allan McNish in 2004 - 'What did you think of the last Le Mans?' It was good until hour 2 when I went off heavily at the entry to Porsche curves on oil dropped by a "Porsche". Cannot remember much after that. |

Random question: are there any plans in place/in the works for a garage visit this year?

I was thinking the same thing not so long ago. I think the absence of a thread about this means 'no'.
(I do hope there's a 'yes' as an answer though) |

In exactly a month we will be racing! Probably with some kind of botched start where the leader guns it.

It is a nice drive out to the town/village late wednesday morning and then have a coffee/beer and a look around the hotel de france and all it's le mans history, several places to eat there if you are in need of food
