What do you think about this Mustang? A good car right? Sounds nice. Hopefully they sell it to the world.
This Corvette is good but what do you get for the HUGE cost? It doesnt seem to be better than any other car? |

Is the Corvette a more expensive GT3 car? I have no idea how much these cost for GT3 racing!
The Corvette has the problem again, this time in the pits. It’s back out. |

I only caught the last 15 minutes, but liked what I saw! Multi class racing at its finest!
First win in Pro for Snow and Sellers and first win for Korthoff in GTD |

Would not have believed that until I checked myself. If/when Snow wants to commit to racing, he'd be a supreme asset for BMW. Great runs from both Mustangs and the #23 as well; but for that fuel stop, Heart of Racing would have pulled off a superb victory. |

For me the works Corvettes are very quick, anything else is pretty useless, even decent teams in WEC cant get it to work that well (which says to me the car is only good under P&M, not a great selling point but typical of many factory race teams sadly), whereas the Mustang has been going OK everywhere, very well here massively quick on poke.
Also interesting that Incepetion are dumping McLaren mid season for Ferrari Iribe has been with them a long time, fitting end, though if Fred knew it was smoking phew what a mess up. Pfaff have hardly set the world alight either. If I was BMW I would be looking at Miller, for better things, maybe not Hypercar, but certainly a team in WEC they run a great operation, but maybe this track suited them. SNow as superb there as was Ross Gunn. |

It seems like everyone wants to claim it's orders of magnitude more expensive, the used one offered earlier this year was NOT more than most other GT3s. But I guess most who claim more expensive can't back it up with prices

I just watched the replay of VIR and I think it was one of the best races of the season. After Road America and ELMS Spa there were some concerns about driving standards but at VIR everyone did good, just some minor incidents like Lambo losing some rear bodywork or Lexus spun by one of the Astons. If not for that Daytona penatly, Paul Miller Racing's BMW surely would be in contention for the manufacturers championship. But the drivers championship is still open.

https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/v...ce-notebook-5/ Seems like it was a different problem as the one in the pits was starter motor. I presume the one on track wasn’t! Sims said it cut out and then the power steering broke. In the pits it was the starter. And in the end suspension. |

He did a complete reset out on track, and it kept happening at the same turn, almost as if if you clicked back to first, something turned off.

So in addition to the Inception Ferrari we are getting a Dragonspeed Ferrari for Indy and extended to Petit as well. Had forgotten Hedman was confirmed in it for Indy, Vilander and Lindh added to the lineup and it was extended to Petit in this annoucement. Just keep adding the Ferraris after we were down to only 1 for a while there and I think none a few times last year maybe

Does anyone know if the 911 chassis Wright Motorsports runs in IMSA is the same they run in Fanatec GT World Challenge America. racingsportscars.com does a great job on chassis numbers but the Porsche 992 GT3 R chassis are non-existent.

56 entries for Indy
https://racer.com/wp-content/uploads..._EntryList.pdf Return of Lamborghini GTP and the others in the IMEC. Loss of a few of everyone's favorite class, dropped 3 LMP2s with Creech not entering their Ligier, Crowdstrike well that's self explanatory and Dragonspeed moved to GTD. GTD adds Risi, Iron Lynx and SunEnergy in Pro; Iron Dames, Triarsi, Andretti, Cetilar, KellyMoss with Riley in GTD. And the Inception change to Ferrari 11 GTP, 10 LMP2, 12 GTD Pro and 23 GTDs |

Change to entry list, 27 Heart of Racing moves to Pro with De Angelis and Farnbacher driving. Sounds like it's possible they could stay for Petit if the points make it worth it. Gunn and Riberas in the 23
Robichon and the boss sitting. I'm assuming they could try for points at Petit as well, no there's nothing in the article to suggest it. https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/h...-pro-for-indy/ |

Sorry, article did say and I'm an idiot. The change means they have to stay in Pro for Petit since they can only change class once, forget the IMSA rule change for this season

Qualy is done, Caddy and Porsche on pole in GTP and GTD respectively.
https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/b...-at-brickyard/ Makes me wonder why Madison Snow didn't get to qualify the BMW, he's a track record holder at Indy after all. |

Yes, it’ll be tricky.
But we can say lots of superior sportscar type things like, “they don’t normally race in the rain here” as someone parks it into the wall! And then we can talk about the safety car procedure. Man this practically writes itself. |
