As mentioned in the LM thread, Ginetta are testing again at Spa ahead of the 2019/20 entry deadline. Will anything come of it? It would be good to have a replacement for Dragonspeed.

This sounds like a better thought out plan than last year. Get the entries in at least, and then take the time to find a team that has a good chance of actually completing the season.

They (Ginetta) have entered the cars while they look for a partner. I want to stay optimistic but still don't know who a potential partner would be.

I thought of them too but with programs in Indycar, ELMS LMP2, FIA F2, FIA F3, Euroformula Open, British F3 and British F4, they may be a little stretched just now.

Signs are looking good for Ginetta. I hope a well established team picks up the cars to run them. We need them to help boost LMP1 now dragonspeed have gone

Great news ! Finally we will see the cars on track. I still think that JC Racing could take the opportunity to make the jump into P1.

When this project started Ginetta was sure to building ten tubs for 3 or 4 teams. We know where this story ended. I can't see any private buyer taking that on.
You know, I'm sensing a lot of parallels to the healthcare debate here. |

Are they running a more aggressive antilag on the AER now that the fuel allocation limit is gone? Very noisy on the over run. The SMPs sounded the same at Spa this year.

But the homologation for this car looks to be ending in 25 months time (of which likely only 13 in semi competitive state) so there's not much time to profit on it really
Anyway, in a way this the history of this project has mirrored that of HPD ARX-04 |
