yes the red does look rather smart......interesting location of the engine air inlets for the turbos, both together near the centre of the car, nice......I was kind of expecting them to be infront of the rear wheels......I will be interested to see where the actual turbos are located, I wouldnt be surprised to see them located near to or perhaps even inside the bell housing, which I'm guessing is now a bigger affair having more space when being converted from a V8 to a V6....a bit like CART did with their single turbo......I will be interested to see under the engine cover if a shot appears.......looks like they put a lot of thought into the aero, the car looks heavily revised.......I now expect this car to do significantly longer stints between fuel stops, and be marginally faster......unlike before

Yeah more revised than CLM.
Here is the most recent EoT table for Test Day http://www.fia.com/file/28006/download?token=EW7S5f97 Betting on adjustment between that and race Rebellion left this lovely pic before they left Ricard on route to Sarthe on Monday evening |

I think that the turbos are mounted next to the engine/header pipes like on the Audi R8, pre-R18 Audi diesels, the Peugeot diesels, and the Bentley GTP cars.
The exhaust exits in front of the rear wheels as on the CLM and the V12 Peugeot 908. It seems that there's also separate wastegate/pop-off exits as well as on most turbocharged Group C cars that ran side exhaust (Most WM Peugeots, Nissans, Porsche 956/962s, Sauber/Mercedes-Benz, V6 turbo Jags, etc) |

Looks like we are all set for metallic red & white as the two cars are in those for scrutineering! No sponsor tags yet though, even the shark and rear wing just spell Rebellion. |

I'm in love! The metallic red is stunning. It'll look even better at night I reckon.

Pre Test Day press release
http://rebellion-racing.com/news150530.html They've also done lots of live 'broadcasting' on Periscope.tv for the last week but I haven't catched a single minute of that. Not that I really do apps |

The WEC paddock are absolutely battering Periscope at the minute so it's worth downloading if you want a bit of extra insight, access, Q&As etc.

The white writing on the #13 makes me think Rebellion actually want to look like Porsche's livery. If the Red Porsche wins, I imagine a few less specialist forms of media using a picture of the Rebellion. You don't stand a chance unless you can tell the difference from the shape, which most casual viewers can't.

I think it would probably be clearer in the flesh but at glance they're very similar IMO. |

At least the "REB" lettering on the Rebellions reads from left to right. Crystal clear

All-red and all-white made them more distinctive.
Also now there is red + white in every LMP1 car except the Toyotas, two of the Porsches and ByKolles. |

Rebellion why? Has everyone forgotten how to design a livery? This idea looks awful on the Porsche, and it looks hardly better on the Rebellion. Still, nice colours.

Probably because of what Gingers speculated above.
Sponsors will be added later. Or if not there is something catastrophically wrong. With these big logos no Arctic Velvet on the fin anymore though (and yes I know the French alcohol laws would technically ban it anyway, but those logos were at LM last year so ACO probably didn't just know who they were ) |

Urgh, Rebellion have always had such nice liveries, why oh why have they copied Porsche's horrible idea?
Well, rather have two ugly cars than none at all I suppose. |

The metallic red is still awesome on the #13. And if you only look at the car past the big honking holes, it's all red
My Rebellion livery rankings 1) 2010 gold white red 2) 2011 red gold white 3) 2014 red white 4) 2009 Speedy sabah 5) This 6) 2008 Speedy sabah 7) 2012-13 Lotus rebadge Last edited by Deleted; 30 May 2015 at 16:42. |

From what I've read on Sportscar365 it seems the cars will run pretty much at Le Mans.
