Remember that originally ACO wanted to run the 12 hours integrated with IMSA again just as in 2011 & 2012, but Daytona Beach refused because they wanted to keep their precious DPis on top. This is the second best compromise, what you suggest would be third best only... As for Fuji, Toyota owns the track so they can do whatever they want to accommodate their star driver... and obviously ACO and FIA aren't gonna say no to that |

Dragonspeed will enter a P2 car alongside their P1 entry for the WEC Super Season:
http://www.dailysportscar.com/2018/0...wec-entry.html And apparently, with the ELMS, WEC and Le Mans entry lists set to be announced tomorrow and Friday, 'there are plenty of surprises to come in the next 48 hours.' according to Graham. |

I assume they're not going to try to enter 3 cars for LM though, but rather the Oreca in ELMS is the same as in WEC (?)

Asked if Toyota would walk LMP1, Lotterer told Crash.net: "Yeah, on the WEC tracks, pretty much, because there hasn’t been anything really done. "I don’t know how that will look on TV and how people will like it. The people on top should decide that for themselves. It’s important to keep Toyota on board, but the show is important as well. "So let’s see. But the numbers are looking interesting. It’s a shame that the Toyotas will just be cruising. "Le Mans is the one race where I think that category has a shot." |

Aero rules haven't changed from last year. I think if you talk about Silverstone, Shanghai, or Sebring the privateers are probably pretty screwed, but well, Le Mans is a quarter of the races in the season anyways...

On his new podcast Graham suggested there is a big surprise coming in prototypes - any ideas? Is this the 3 missing Ginettas that were announced, linked to a factory, then seemed to disappear??

Call me a cynic, but how many times have we heard journalists bigging up announcements, only for them to be confirmations of what we already anticipated. I love being proved wrong though, so here's hoping!
My only other thought was that maybe Ginetta will enter a 'factory' car, they (and previously Zytek) have done so in the past. |

2 P1 Manor-Ginettas confirmed.
But only 7 P2s in WEC. Did I miss seeing JDC Miller on the P2 list for LM? Riley dead last on the reserve list. |
