Always wanted to do Spa - hope it doesn't clash with any Ford Saloon or mini racing though! Is there any reason that there are a number of double one hour races instead of a 2hr race-just curious thats all. Not sure what James may have provisionally booked to race alongside the Britcar ther but how about getting another UK race series to join and help costs?...If it was the Mini7s/Miglia's I'm sure Bill would be happy and the M7RC as they couldn't do it this year. Anyway-its looking very good...guessing the european rounds would also allow bigger grids than in the UK?

I am not sure why they have split the race for the smaller cars but as I see it the S1 class will act as a kind of feeder to britcar. So prehaps the 1 hr race is to reduce running cost as the teams will not need to buy/fit extra dry brake fuel systems if they are also in other championships with the cars.
Now this is total speculation but the rounds in spa and zolder (depending on how the talks have gone)could they not be run with belcar.I know James was talking to them re joining up for a few rounds.

Great new from JP and MSV on the site today.A 24 hour race for BRITSPORTs at Snett May 20/21 2005.And Belcar MAY be supporting the Britcar 24 hr at Silverstone.
So that means the Club may have 2 TWENTY FOUR HOUR races next year!

Oh yeah of little faith,The only reason for no 24 hr this year was to allow James time to get all the relivent planning in place and give give the residents notice. And to try to get the msa to allow to allow a big grid.Snett is still provisonal at the moment,JP and MSV have said that it can go ahead.

I've been quiet here lately, because I've cocked-up my password thing, so the moderator will probably give me a roasting for concocting an alternative log-in name, but.......

Calm down, calm down !!!

This calendar is PROVISIONAL - that's capital P, capital ROVISIONAL,

There WILL be changes, that is virtually guaranteed at this early stage.

Any reasons foe it being canned - would have been a good circuit.

Saw that plans for next year's 24-Hour race on the GP circuit have been proposed - any feel for what a rental drive would cost?
