Oops... looks like she clouted the wall on her 2nd lap. She'll get a full day in the car tomorrow though

That's my point Russ-Turner, he won so many races and crashed on his 1st lap she hasn't won as many and was apparently caught out by the traction control

I thought Traction Control was supposed to stop you crashing?

Everyone has crashed a car at some time... You can have 50 years of racing experience and still clout a wall.

Well, she knew the risks, and she's holding her head up. Better luck to her today - I hope she gets a good ride out of it today at least.

I see that Autosport can't get used to the thought of a lady F1 driver:
"British driver Katherine Legge completed a two-day test for the Minardi team at the Autodromo Vallelunga. The 25-year-old, who crashed on his F1 debut yesterday, was on track from mid-morning and enjoyed a much more productive day, completing 27 laps with a best time of 1:21.176" Not a bad lap time from Katherine. A guy with a few more miles under his F1 belt, Stirling Mossad , completed many more laps (50), his quickest being 1:24.650. Does that show how good she is or just how thoroughly bad he is...? Rob |

im pretty sure massa ran on the extended 4km layout rather than the 3 km one, if he had been on the shorter circuit and was only 8 seconds infront of a minardi which had done a whole extra 1000m, he should be ahamed,
i agree, aewsomely impressive by legge, what would be cool if super aguri ran both legge and patrick in an all women team. |
