So, What is the reason to spend money and energy with the FIAT Tipo?

I think Tecnodom wants to try something different, they have already ran the Alfa Mito in the TCS category two years ago. But you can't hope for a Fiat aid right now, because the Fiat Group doesn't care about TCR at all. Maybe Tecnodom is working on the Tipo TCR to retrace the RF Giulietta's steps.

Decent first race at Paul Ricard. I don't know why they even bothered trying to start the second.

I don't think so. It doesn't appear in the BoP bulletin.

Races at Misano were very nice, 32 cars, lot of fights, and also big crash.

Fantastic race 1 in Mugello. Great battle between Tavano and Baldan, first win of the season for SEAT Motorsport Italia. So unlucky for Ferrara with brakes issue + broken radiator.

There it is! The Fiat Tipo TCR has been officially presented today. The car will debut in TCR Italy at Vallelunga, in September.

For some reason it has a bit of a Rallycross feeling, doesn't look bad at all though!

Great agressive looking car (except for the gap at the wheel arches ).
Smart choice to use same engine as the Alfa. |

Great races this weekend.
Race 3 fight for P1 between two Cupras and Subaru was great. |

Luca Rangoni, what a driver. Here in Italy the old school is still going well, 14 years ago Rangoni and Tavano were racing in the same team in the ETCC...
Absolutely amateur accident between Scalvini and Baldan in QP. I agree with Scalvini's exclusion from the event. Baldan is terribly unlucky this year. Double penalty for Ferrara, in both races he violated the SC procedure. Not good for the fastest driver in this championship. |

Good to see the Subaru back racing, and this time it was competitive. Great work by Rangoni, nice to see him back in touring car.
Shame we lost Baldan, what strange accident |

Good to see Larini stopping to help him after the accident
